Destiny Foster

Company Artist - 3rd year

Destiny Foster was born and raised in Coppell, Texas, where her passion for dance nurtured and shaped her. From her earliest days, she embraced the artistry of ballet and tap, honing her skills at the Top Hat Dance Centre in Flower Mound. As her dedication grew, she transitioned her training to Dance Machines Dance Studio in Coppell.

Destiny's love for dance and learning reached new heights in 2010 when she joined the Dance Machines competition team. This experience immersed her in a diverse array of disciplines, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical styles. Her formative years at Coppell High School expanded her repertoire even further, introducing her to the realms of pom, kick, and contemporary dance as a valued member of the award-winning Coppell Lariettes. This rich and varied training has shaped her into a versatile and adaptable dancer.

Destiny's academic and artistic journey reached a milestone in May 2023 when she proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, with a 6-12 Education Certification, from Texas Woman's University (TWU). Her time at TWU was marked by numerous achievements including performances at DanceMakers and Dance UpClose concerts. Notably, her choreography piece “It’s Not Your Fault” in Dance UpClose earned acclaim during her final semester, showcasing her artistic vision and talent. Under the mentorship of respected artists such as Cami Holman, Elisa De La Rosa, Chely Seels, and Sarah Gamblin, Destiny’s passion for modern and ballet techniques was further ignited.

In the pursuit of sharing her passion with others, Destiny devoted herself to teaching diverse dance styles at Dana’s Studio of Dance in various locations throughout Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex in the preceding year. As the studio's recital draws near, she eagerly anticipates witnessing her students' performances, a testament to her dedication and guidance.

Looking ahead, Destiny's journey takes a new path as she starts pursuing a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship at Texas Woman’s University. Her strong commitment to excellence and ambition will continue to light her path, shaping a future overflowing with promise and possibility.
